The Road Side Spreading Tree Poem by Muzahidul Reza

The Road Side Spreading Tree

Rating: 5.0

Branches take roots and spread hoods
Making a vast position
Vertical to horizon
The Spreading tree that era after era stands,

Breathing out oxygen, inhaling poisonous gases
Makes living beings sustain
From life to the cremation
The Spreading tree that era after era stands,

Animals, birds take shelter, eat its fruits
Making a large habitation
From life to conclusion
In the Spreading tree that era after era stands,

Breathers, passers and ascetics get shadows
At respective situations
To think over creations
Under the spreading tree that era after era stands,

The road side spreading tree every day we see
At going out of home
And at returning in
Magnificent tasks it does only standing free.
