The Rock Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

The Rock

The rock

Well has said the poet
-of the rock, cube-shaped
-on each side square:
- "Came men and brought tools,
-hammer with crowbars,
-many picks, neck of goose.
-Badly sought the truth,
-eager to get to root,
-and in search of secret-
-writing on, side hidden…"

Took them time
-rolled stone…

Bottom came to surface
-appeared exact same.

Metaphor:
"This is life! "
"Day or Night! "
