The Schools To Open 2020 Poem by Black Consciousness Poetry BCP

Hide the Young and the Old of our-nation!
They are opening the gates to death.
They are opening the gates to learning.

For Education, they will kill the Future!
For Education, the past must die!
For Education, the gates must be open!

Government-the-day said 'We can not afford to delay anymore, for Education is the blood vessel, for the pulse of labor to carry this economy'

This is a matter of life or death!

The-Government-of-the-people, By-the-people have spoken.
When The-Government-of-the-people, By-the-people spoke!
from the most privileged the applauds thundered to silence,
leaving the under-privileged upheavaled.

This is the day, when ignorance became a pandemic, agape the gates were open to learning, black children were weaponized, to carry death to the fragile hands of their beloved grand Fathers and Mothers.

You should! remember this day, Black world.
As the day the future returned to murder the past it was begotten from.
