The Season Of Life Poem by Dakota Ellerton

The Season Of Life

I sit silently under the tree
and watch the greens soak up the sun
the Earth beneath my feet
I smell freedom

everything is being reborn
a new start, a second chance
I'd give a life time to be like the flowers that bloom
time and time again

a cycle that repeats
like a spinning record
this is the season of life

every life has value
everything has a purpose
we're all important
we're all equal
