The Silent Emotions Poem by Prem Nizar Hameed

As the status symbol becomes determining factor,
Some of the love affairs will painfully come to a halt;
Religion, nation and money more often demarcate
A borderline between the bodies of two true lovers;
But is the same rule applicable to their souls also?
Is your undefined silence an indication to that?
Or is it your unique silence, which you often maintain
To kid me, that still permeates here around the grave, too?
