The Struggle Poem by Nick Smith

The Struggle

Rating: 0.5

The struggle to live, the struggle to stay on my feet
The struggle to survive the desert's heat
I look around, I see all the haters
Go ahead and hate, you'll just make me greater
I came from nothing, started from the bottom
Now I have the drive to solve any problem
Look into my eyes, you'll see nothing
Because I don't have limits, I'ma be better than just something
I'ma rise all the way to the top, I'm not going down
I stand tall without my feet touching the ground
You can say I'll never make it, never achieve
Those words just well enter my mind, and never leave
That'll push me to do better, be something more
I'll tear down any wall in my way, break any door
I lived the life of the struggle, and I'm done
I'm on the path to be number one
