The Submissive (Woman)
At first this novel just creeped me out
Woman is Submissive, man is Master
She wears his collar
What's this all about?
Ask any woman young at age
She will vehemently deny this ‘take'
A woman should submit, a man should dominate?
No! We must break these shackles
And try to equate!
Back to the novel, I continued reading
To find the culprit, but subconsciously wondering
When in bedroom, the couple got along beautifully
Then why outside, butted heads constantly?
When two people love each other
From the depths of their hearts
Ego on woman's part
Does it work or thwart?
Glad I didn't trash this novel
As I learned something profound
The importance of being submissive
To your partner
Provided he respects your ‘giving in'
And knows to keep within bounds.

I just can't understand the importance of being submissive. I have not read the book but something sinister is being served, it seems. I think no self-respecting women would like to follow her man like a collared dog. when a man and a woman are in a serious relationship, they must have mutual respect for each other, desire to understand with utmost sincerity and a readiness to shun an urge to impose oneself on the other. These rules should be kept in mind when getting into a relationship. Thanks. Woman is Submissive, man is Master No! We must break these shackles.... And try to equate!
