The Terrace Poem by Lucas P

The Terrace

Under the crimson sunset
With the Aromas of the east
Laying on our back and skyward
your hands on my chest with heat

Eyes locked with longing
Your Hand moved to my lips
Lay a soft gentle kiss
And our hearts just eclipsed

The birds fly to their homes
The sunset has come to pass
The aromas become stronger
our passions have just surpassed

We kiss so very strongly
Our distance a memory behind
You shed a tear of content
As we both lay naked entwined

The stars have come out to watch us
Their dim lights shimmer your eyes
Unrecognized in this moonlit halo
we feel the sensation of love rise

We laugh and we hold tight
Our senses longing for more
You hold me close and whisper
You are the one I'm sure.
