The Too Important Two Poem by Ayandare Mayowa

The Too Important Two

Behind large lilac poles and purple curtain,
The King rests his head,
Behind languished stables and worn curtain,
The servants pitch their tent.
At the bosom and breast of a woman,
Kings are weaned and grew,
At the bosom and breast of a woman,
Servants are weaned and grew.
Fair you may conclude,
The world never is,
And maybe rightly so,
But this I do know though,
There is destiny, there is decision,
The too important two,
Regard and respect both,
And all shall be well with you.
