When the fire crosses
burning trees with its hands
and blows into them with its mouth
then water disappears
and dies
no one thinks about
burning birds nests
no one thinks of a time
by a cosy fireplace
when snow covers the trees outside
.
Whenever fire explodes
everyone escapes from
its aggression
seeking safety
*
When drops of water
become a giant, a fast current
even the soil will be powerless
to defend its parched dust
at that time no one thinks of a time -
a glass of cold water in summer's heat
.
whenever water is aggrieved
no one dares to swim
in a rapid flood
everyone escapes towards safety
.
While elsewhere in peace
The birds sing and
pattering raindrops
draw attention
people plant seedlings
to a rich life
which enriches the fireplace in the iced
winter night
.
When the harmony between language
water and fire is understood
people build away from volcano
and travel quietly
enjoying the serenity
with Meditation at the glamorous of oceans

Dear poet Keith Brown thanks for your lovely comment on my humble work, I hope you have enjoyed it, take care, keep writing and stay blessed
You have pointed out some contrasting but valuable points about the properties of water and fire. A solid poem here that gives rise to thought! 10+++++++++++
Part 3- -right now we breathe through masks inside our house and cannot see the hospital a blocks away so we are praying for water, tranquil or not... but it is pleasant to think beyond this time and see the cycle of nature that will heal- - > While elsewhere in peace / The birds sing and / pattering raindrops / draw attention / people plant seedlings / to a rich life, , , , , , , , , , ,10+++++++++++
Part 2. Whenever fire explodes / everyone escapes from / its aggression / seeking safety- - - - - - -> > explodes is the exact right word and not everyone made their escape to safety.... very well written on different levels of thought,
When the fire crosses / burning trees with its hands / and blows into them with its mouth / then water disappears / and dies / no one thinks about / burning birds nests- - - - > I stopped in to read this again... it seemed as if it was meant to be to read it again at such a time as this. We are swamped in smoke from all those fires in the mountains circling us here in the desert..
