The Two Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

The Two

The two

Together the two were
-right from the start
-very base for trip
-in same air and weather
-on same land; water same
-trees and forests were also
-so they did process

First walked passed
-through paths
-harmlessly
-soft, quick

Second but
-considered
-as worthless
-scratched the roads' walls
-stopped talked with trees
-kissed leaves
-spitted here, there
-as do dogs gone walking…

Ended the road-trip
-after some centuries…

Breeze came turned to wind
-hurricane
-strong and removed all covers
-the thin earth turned to dust
-and was gone in no time

The second's appeared
-in form of nail prints
-in grass the smell of his pee
-so he lived…
-research says: "Still lives."

First is gone as chalk dust…
-board erased, never was
-for the eyes…
-so say the galaxies, Earth and Sun…
