The U- Turn Poem by Suchitra Prabhakaran

The U- Turn

Rating: 5.0

She swirls her vehicle
The mirror it reflected
The far away land
A land of promises.
In front is the past
The one to be forgotten
Bruises and bandits all the way
No help; but shards all over
With baggage she has
Her bundle of joy, her guiding light
She looked both sides
For the safe parkbay
Heard some whispers and noises
Or is it some hoof-stocks?
Collected herself wiping the tears
Saw knights in armours
One with roses with full of thorns
The other with love and smile
But reluctant to come forth
Expectations running wild
But then she remembered HER
Ray of hope unaware of
The ambiguities of the life
Swirled she takes a U- Turn
Determined to live life to the fullest
Away from the shards and shrouds
With a smile and to be happy as a clam
