The Valley Pt 1 Poem by Jouri Frazer

As I walk for a while in the darkness
I can see a light in my path
I start to step forward to try to move toward it
but the light fades with a laugh
with my guiding light gone I'm now stuck in this darkened land
I sit down with a sigh as I think why
then suddenly I understand.
I start to cry and tell myself lies
and say my mind is dented
but I can't hide from the truth of the why
because the truth is my life has ended.
