The Veil Poem by Shipra Agarwal

The Veil

You sing and it moves slightly, quivers
The rhythm of your breath, its ripples mirror
This endless white veil hides me from the whole world's view
As I close my eyes to listen to you.

Oh! Don't look so surprised it's not real
Just a sly trick my mind plays I feel
It drowns away all my other senses
So I can relish your voice's li'l nuances.
