The Visitors Poem by Tony Adah

The Visitors

Travellers nobly on our way
We landed in the honour
To our host
He was good on the surface
And slaughtered a chicken for us
With his mouth
We ate it with our ears
The tantalizing chicken cackled
And vanished like a bubble from our sight.
