The War
I want to wage a war on corruption
I want to wage it now
I need to assemble an army
As I need to win somehow
I want to wage a war on anger
I want to threaten greed
I want to free those little children
Who are abused for mans need.
I want to wage a war on terror
I need to kill this beast
The one that spreads disease among us
But is perpetually having a feast.
I want to wage a war on sex
The hottest sell these days
I want to curb this destruction
As I see innocence flying in the haze.
I want to wage a war on religion
For it seems to destroy more than build
I need to follow the path of righteousness
For which so many have been killed
I want to wage a war on power
The one true cause of every sin
But only when I conquer the need for control
Will I this war eventually win.
