When love came to breath its heavenliness,
This is when poetry came to You and Me,
As the fragrance came to a flower,
As the moon came to a sky,
As the stars came to the night,
As the waves came to an ocean,
As the light came to a bud that began to break
So as to unfold the first petals of a love that endures.

The souls once enthralled with rapture,
The hearts once lit with laughter,
The bud broken with a poesy passion,
Gave birth to a thousand stars in My eyes,
To light and relight a sky at night,
So, I can leave the heartfelt trails of a love to remember,
A journey to treasure, that You and I once began,
In the blush of a lush love, all that lit up a lonely sky
