The Web Poem by Lauren Renee'

The Web

Like a spider you did weave
Webs and webs of lies
To anyone you could deceive
To you we wee just flies

I was caught up in it
Mesmerized b your charm
You set the bait and I bit
Never thinking you’d do me harm

I realized I was mistaken
When I uncovered the reality
Many lives have you taken
And I would make thirty-three

Other young girls
So innocent and trusting
You set their heads in whirls
Them in love; you in lusting
