The Weeping Widow Poem by Evy Moore

The Weeping Widow

Rating: 5.0

She cries and she cries her heart burns with pain
The love she was seeking is now shattered and in vain
His smile said i love you but his eyes said betrayal
He was surely and truly the devil's portrayal
she weeped and she weeped, her emotions she shed
But her heart filled with agony uncontrollably bled
shaking but surely she grabed the jagged edge
Then impaled her broken heart with only a wedge
Now she lyes hollow, going down not above
For trying too hard to find the thing we call love
