The Weight Of Unbalance Scale Poem by Wangchat konyak

The Weight Of Unbalance Scale

Justice is a myth, a tales of fallacy -
A song sung by the silenced soul,
Yearning for solace and to be heard;
A misconception all cling to, amiss.
Yet it favours the sleek and corrupt,
Leaving the poor and honest to disrupt.
Convicts roam free, while victims mourn,
As the meek suffer, the wicked thrive,
Leaving justice a dream for the oppressed.
In this sea of disparity, we rue -
Upon the sound of broken trust,
A symphony of legal discord.
Justice remains elusive, long overdue.
For the victim's hope, a flickering light,
Dwindles in the endless, unjust night.
