The Wild Poem by Mohsen Moqim Hanjani

The Wild

Everywhere we go, there is violence
No matter how harsh, there is tolerance
A man is burned, a woman is raped
But do not worry, all of it is taped

Everywhere we go, there is corruption
In every paperwork, there is abduction
A land is bought and a house is lit
But do not worry, a tower is built

Everywhere we go, there is poverty
And every helpless is begging for tea
Searching for truth, we look down upon
Or without remorse, simply move on

Everyone that says, we live in the wild
The strong is to rule and the weak to die
What is your response, to this question?
That seen a lion, that kills its nation?
