The Wind Poem by Sait Jaw

The Wind

You blinded me when you shout
you expose my secrets
you make them hear when I speak in silence
you I hate infinitely
you that dry my cloths with dirt
you that sail my grandpa’s canoe
you I love so much at night
you that command respect and show none
you that multiply sin
you I hate so dearly

you that give hope to farmers
you that wreck lives when you mad
you that help my slave fire
when he becomes master
the wind the wind
you I hate so dearly
