The Word Looked For

Autoplay

for a screw-on tap fitting
that enables an imperially-threaded connector hose
to be attached to a metrically-threaded tap
was almost staring me in the face.

I conjured a table
of m-ms beside inches.

It's not an enabler,
a matchmaker or an Emma.
'Converter' was the word
to solve my dilemma.
