The Words I Can'T Say Part I Poem by Alexandra Bowden

The Words I Can'T Say Part I

My heart skips a beat,
Whenever you and I meet.
My love for you is hidden,
For I fear it is forbidden.
I am scared of it being unrequited,
And your actions being shortsighted.
This is why you will never hear me say those words,
Not at least until I know I’ve got you for good.
