The Work Poem by Kristeta von Popper

The Work

Rating: 5.0

I am the work of ages
Long forgotten memories
That rise within
My sacred place
Filling me with
Longing for
Release
From
Our
Circular wanderings in space
In the book that is written
I continue to
Add my lines
Left unheeded
Is what I
Know
To be
True
We are the flame that
Burns eternally but in
Our passion we forgot
The One Who
Gave us this
Grace
To rejoice
To serve
To Be

A poem depicting the reason behind the creation of this earth with a very strong messega that reminds us of our exact place. It also conveys a factual tone to the people to prepare for thereafter............10/10 Best Wishes Sameer
