The World Is Crying Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

The World Is Crying

Rating: 5.0

It's not normal
The whole world is crying
The tent of sorrow is enveloping the world
Everyday thousands and thousands of people are dying
There is no remedy in the visible future
The COVID-19 outbreak is causing immense pain
Life as we know it has been permanently damaged
Hospitals are in dire straits
The stench of death is in the air
The whole world is in dire straits
Fear dresses our hearts
Our daily lives have been pierced by the claws of death
Our reality is on the brink of collapse
As dark clouds of uncertainty hover above our heads
And a venomous scourge is on the loose
It's a terrible time for all of humanity
Normality has been shattered
Burying ourselves in the burrows of our homes
We stare at the climbing death toll on our television screens
Flabbergasted by the ferocity of this virus
And our tears flow unabated
As we kneel in prayer
Or sob in silence
Our hearts are broken
And life is at a standstill

Due to attack of The COVID-19 the whole world is trembling in fear and the virus has threatened. The whole world is crying very much. Such a disease is rapidly spreading which has no solution. We should be aware about this and take preventive measures. We should fight against this disease coming in social distancing. An amazing poem is very brilliantly penned.10
