The world of nature
Abounding in beauty unbounded,
the vast expanse of myriad greens
that spread across the earth-
Wild Asia, Scotland, China;
every hue of green,
thousands of different birds
each of unique beauty
of its own
the peacock, the magpie, the gull.
The green Scottish fields
embracing the sky
at the horizon;
the yellow Williams, the Lavender,
the Cuckooflower and the Cornish Heath
that flutter and dance in the wind
playing with its ruffle
refusing to be daunted by its scuffle;
The sweet, cool and pure breeze
that invites the geese
to take to the beautiful serene seas,
sometimes calm, sometimes rebelling against the rocks-
splishing and splashing
breaking into the rainbow foam;
the fathomless and the mysterious sea,
hiding a world, more wondrous than the one above,
more boundless and bounteous-
yet, more lethal.
The sky with the varying sheets
of clouds
that chariot around the world,
white and grey and crimson,
beating the rainbow colours;
Can human gratitude ever match the
Bounties of the beauteous Nature?
