Fluttering gently to the ground
Touching the earth without a sound
Transforming the earth with it's glow
Magical world of winter snow

Painted landscapes with every brush
Different pictures on every touch
Silent world painted clean
Moonlight cast an eerie sheen

We must enjoy the changes
So lovely cold and bright
It will not last for long
This wonderful world of white

I wish you were here
To witness this scene
Then you will know
Exactly what i mean

If only you were here
I would take your hand
And show you to
This winter wonderland
