The World Today Poem by Phil Soar

The World Today

I understand nothing in this world today
Too many questions have come into play
I wonder if plastic's the theme of the day?
Or the plight of the whale is going away

It makes little sense to be filled with such fear
That nothing is obvious, nothing is clear
There's always a mountain to climb ever year
And the plight of so many, makes me shed a tear

I would patch up the earth if it made it as one
And then all of the hatred and hurt would be gone
There would be lots of happiness for everyone
But I doubt it will happen, until god is done

Yes Phil, you are quite wright. Today's world is in a chaos. Human is moving ahead, bulldozing everything else, as if the nature is his/her own creation, whereas human is only a tiny little factor in the whole nature. Your sentiments are well articulated in the poem. Thanks for sharing.
