The Year 2014 Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

I feel sleepy at this hour,
I don’t have enough power,
Even then I want to say
Goodbye, before the stroke
Of midnight, as this may
Be right time to bid bye
To this wonderful year
Of 2014, which was the year
That made me laugh, dream, admire
And made me realize my real dreams
Hence became the most memorable.
2014 goodbye to you.
Definitely I will miss you but the
Memories you gave to me will
Stay in my heart and mind forever.

Every day was new anew
Right from 1st Jan to 31 Dec,
Almost every day was a cool
Adventure; I went to many
Places, I learnt different lessons
From the book of life, I am glad
To say that this year added
Many more pages to my book
Of life; this book might be heavy
But it is very light inside my heart
Every new adventure laid its footsteps
In the sands of the time of the year 2014.
I thank everyone who accompanied me
All through all endeavors in this lovely year;
Thanks a lot. I hope 2015 to be awesome.
