The yet to come

An ebony sky blanketed with stars
Miniature lamplights that seem to twinkle endlessly
Shining down on us, somehow knowing
Where the darkness resides
And takes over to illuminate the pathway
The pathway to brighter things
It is coming into focus
So very radiant

The yet to come

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Browning

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
