There Are No Words Poem by Rachel Waldrep

If only words could describe,
the love I have for you.
I'd write them down on paper,
and send them, that's what I'd do.

If only I could find the words,
to tell you what I mean.
I wish that you had come into my life,
when I was just a teen.

For then I would have given you,
my heart right from the start.
And told you I was yours,
so we would never part.

If only words could say,
the way you make me feel.
Everything I'm thinking of,
that's in my head would spill.

For I want you to know,
Just what you mean to me.
Everything you've done for me,
you will never see.

For there are no words in the dictionary,
that I could use to describe,
the way that I feel,
down deep inside.
