There come times that are tough to get through
The bike needs yet another tire, my class notes get wet,
And about twenty other things one day brings and I don't know what to do
But I believe there's a greater picture that I can't see yet.
When I first came here I found existence hard
It sometimes seemed pain and frustration were the only sure bet
But I stayed even though my life felt as though it had been jarred
For I believe there's a greater picture that I can't see yet.
Yesterday I tried to do right by being generous
All that I received in return was a slimmer wallet
Yet next week I will do, I will go through, it all over again because
I believe there's a greater picture that I can't see yet.
How I'm going to get through Crisis #52,876,997 I can't see
Getting everything done I need to, there's just no way to do it
Yet this situation is here for a purpose, though I'm clueless as to what it would be
Despite all this, I will press when life is a mess because God has a purpose and plan for me
And I believe there's a greater picture that I can't see yet.
