There is a light
In this darkness
Misfortune lurks
As in “Turks”
In habitual backwardness
Always in a fight!
There is a light
In this sombre thicket
Devoid of correspondence
Augmenting an air of despondency
Never on the right!
There is a light
In these throat-cuts
Sweeping all from the huts
Sponsored by the right
Notwithstanding, the left’s flight
There is always a light! !
