there is this nook
that i keep and there
is this little time that
i set aside

it receives no pay
it receives no attention

it has nothing to do
with money
nothing to do with
fame or
attention

this is this nook
and you are sitting
before it and you read
and you think
that this is taking your
time and that
this is not necessary

but this is the nook
that you share with me
here you are silent
but feeling crowned
like a royalty

it is this beauty and
the fulfillment that you feel
without anybody.
