There's You Poem by Nightshade Starlight

There's You

Something is blocking my mind,
Dark and mysterious.
It makes my heart wanna go wild.
There's you and then there's me
Walking down this fantasy.
Making me wanna go a little crazy.

I can see that look in your eyes,
You're so hot, so handsome.
All the girls flip when they see,
That pretty face smiling dastardly.
You say, 'Come one girl,
Don't keep me waiting.
Let's go out have some fun on the town.'

There's you, then there's me,
Wishing for our own little fantasy.
But everyone can see that you're
Nothing more than a bad boy,
Hanging out on the streets.
You're no more than a phase.

There's you, then there's me,
And let me tell you something, boy.
Your nothing compared to the real world.
Just something blocking my way,
And with a shove,
I leave you behind me, staring dazed.

There was you, and then there was me,
And believe me, you were just a bad boy
In my way, trying to turn my world upside down.
