There Will Be A Day Poem by Mason Maestro

There Will Be A Day

Classes canceled
I guess for their Pride Day, today
It's the first time I ain't seen
A great wave of intolerance from across the board
Patronage soared
Well, that's a travesty
Pardon the amnesty

There will be a day
Say, someone's gonna pay
For the hijack of pride
And our spectrum of colors
You say, "No one's paying nothin"
At the indecent parade
Those little kids see it and don't really know any better
No one knows any better

There will be a day
When He returns for them
They'll kiss His feet
His love for them is strong
But they'll pay their deed
