These Days Poem by Luke Fellner

These Days

These days
Dragging
forever expanding
In upon themselves.
Never been able to distinguish
one from another.

these Thoughts
all that remains
of this soul, floating,
pushed and bashed
by waves and rocks.

Longing
All that's felt,
for a day your blonde hair
falls upon me,
a day not blended with others.
Longing
For a past
where my life intertwined with yours,
one where I didn't rip away.

A delusion
A dream
A craving
A reason

Whatever it is
it fills thoughts like
salt to the oceans,
and rain to the land.
