They Painted... Poem by Majid Gaggi

They Painted...

They painted your picture, my homeland
Painted all the beautiful vocabulary
And exciting
Drawn on all the stuff
On their pages... their paintings
Painted with chalk...
So that any time
They can erase it
Just like that, easily and conveniently
They are the sons of their moment
Yes, they painted your picture
Not because they love you
But because of the Benefits in you
So they shovel from you
And they scoop
They did not bother
Or tired, but they raced and competed
Among them at that
................
................
................
And others have printed your image
In their thoughts and imaginations
In their hearts they dug
Your letters thicker gorgeous
In their ideas and imaginations
In a golden letters
They just love you
Yes, love you only
Not because of what is in you
God... oh homeland
What a huge difference
Between the two groups
When your picture be embossed
Your love, for just you
Not what is in you?
