Thinking Back Poem by Asha Adeana

Thinking Back

As i sit here reading
About everything that was said and done
Everything moved so fast
And we just drifted apart
You've said a white rose
For it essense
A rose from haven so clean and unique
Elegant with such sweet sarrow
For i've never wanted you to cry
You just wantted me to see
But blinded i was
From worring deep inside from losing you
To just pushing you away
Hiding you from me and everyone else
Love shouldnt be a fight
For one should love no matter what
But my feelings never stopped
The thought of you always passed by
On those special days
The first kiss
First smile
A laught
Just everything seemed right
But everyone felled my head
Of stuff i shouldnt have believed
Yet i did
Surching and never finding
I did alone
No one could fell your shoes
Touch me like you have
It all just seems like a dream
One that wont fade
Hearing a touch down pass
The homecoming game starts to stop
Standing by the fince
Wishing the time would just stop
For the glow in both mine and your's eyes
I dont want to move forward
But take some steps back
Before the hate like and dissappeance
I never had you in my wigs
For you always held me tight
I dreamed of you
I fell in love like a little girl
But all grown on the outside
Like a half missing a whole
I've left your wigs
And they slammed shut
Now you'll be gone
Off you surve the Army
I'll be here still thinking
And dreaming on the life
I wish i could have back
