Thirsty Will Poem by Arno Le Roux

Thirsty Will

'Thirsty Will'

More blisters kiss a new sunrise
Consciousness the blessed prize
Another blinding twelve hour glare
North from lost is everywhere

Brief the visit from dreamy spell
No-where-land no flair to tell
Crispy skin beg sun to part
Swirling shadows a meal to start

More blisters kiss a new sunrise
Consciousness the blessed prize
Another blinding twelve hour glare
North from dilerium is everywhere

Nursery rhymes a mantra prayer
Open eyes at death to stare
One more hour the thirst at bay
One more blink becomes a day

More blisters kiss a new sunrise
Consciousness the blessed prize
Another blinding twelve hour glare
North from dilerium is everywhere

Vaster waters a new alarm clock
'Fight's' her name as sharks a flock
The scale of WILL can not be told
Eyelids close a mind too cold

More blisters kiss a new sunrise
Consciousness the blessed prize
Another blinding twelve hour glare
North from dilerium is everywhere

Arms go limp and slide off chest
Dagger drops in current west
Death swims up a nibble steal
Dark fins flap a speedy reel

More blisters kiss a new sunrise
Consciousness the blessed prize
Another blinding twelve hour glare
North from dilerium is everywhere

Farther north a further date
Whispers soft 'he's seen Hell's gate'
'Reciting rhymes for us now smile'
'A will and thirst for life's long mile'
