This Is Life [color]

Black, white, intertwined
Now gray
Inside, outside
Weaving like waves
Horizontal, vertical

Interlocking
Throughout myself
Over, again
Reoccuring pattern
Continuously
One pattern, one life
Growing, remaining the same

Lif'e pattern
Intertwining endlessly
Weaving like waves
A pattern for my own life
A pattern of myself
Intertwined, intertwined

Side by side
Weaving, weaving
A wave of changes
New life
New colors

Wave after wave
Light after light
Darkness after darkness
Echo after echo

Intertwining
Between each time
Between each line

Now interlocked
Between many waves
Weaving through
Complexed waves

This is life

Poem of the Day

poet James Whitcomb Riley

There! little girl; don't cry!
They have broken your doll, I know;
And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
