This Is Who I Am Poem by Heather Cropper

This Is Who I Am

I tell myself I am pretty,
and that means I am.

When I say something they listen,
to what I have to say.

I am more happy,
than I have ever been.

People say I'm 20,
and I would take that as a compliment.

Call me stupid,
and I start laughing.

Nothing mean could,
ever get to me.

So stop wasting your time,
on trying to hurt my feelings.

Why don't you hurt someone else,
cause it is no use to me,

But if you really want to be my friend,
you wouldn't waste your time hurting someone.

If you don't like me,
you're going to have to accept me.

Because that is who I am....
