This Little Girl Poem by Aislinn Armstrong

This Little Girl

Rating: 2.7

She tells her mum she loves her,
she leaves to go to school,
but she cries in the night,
trying to hold on,
all she needs is someone to love,
someone to trust,
someone to hold on to.
No-one can hear her, she is all alone,
she closes her eyes and makes a wish,

She tells her mum she loves her,
she leaves to go to school,
but she cries in the night,
she can't hold on,
no-one can hear her,
she's all alone,
she closes her eyes and makes a final wish.

Her mum wonders why she hasn't come down for breakfast,
she goes up and checks, and finds the wish list,
this little girl's wishes have not come true...all except one
Her hurt has finally went away, her hurt has gone.
