This relief is indescribable.
There seems a light now, a hope again
like the gag of a prisoner has been taken,
and he can breathe.
This relief is indescribable
Its reason though undefinable
to you, at least, you are better off unaware
of the turmoil and cold-sweated dread
and million prospects playing out in my head.
I am a million times grateful and a million times more
that I am not going down that road. Yet.
