Though I Broke My Promise
Though I broke my promise and your trust,
My love for you remains as strong as ever.
I know it must mean little to swear never
Again to break my word, and yet I must.
What else can I do? Your fury's just,
But all my world will darken if you sever
My heart from yours. Please wait, and I'll endeavor
To blow new life into this mound of dust.
All that you require of me I'll do
And more, if what you ask leaves room for more.
Thus time will heal this wound and leave no scar.
Since I now know the pain of losing you,
I'll be yours more than I could before,
And you will see what my true feelings are.
Never take to proof the false promises of the beloved The lies she swears upon shall loose its beauty the illusion of love i carry in my head beyond reality o heart dont take me away in soft fantasy of the night and your arms when i woke like a child did i cry the emptiness of the room where only your aroma and perfumes of the bath from your steaming body the promises of the last night dont take to your heart alas but if had taken her necklace in my palm not for me but for the necklace may she return to me to fullfill her promise
nice write! though a suggestion: come out of rhyming by force, it reduces the originality and the expression. idea was great! nice write after all!
