Thoughts Of You

Light filtering through
brings thoughts of you,
now so far away.
Images and sounds
of you abounds
in twilight beams. They sway
through branch and leaf,
that shudder and creak
under the burden of memory.
(written in memory of a life long friend Ireland 2016)
