Three Sisters Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Three Sisters

Three sisters

Possibly is old but,
I heard it in Russia.

Love and hope are sisters,
And the two shared a third,
Her given name was "Faith! "

Mother, in the fiction
Comes from religion,
"Sophia" is her name.

Sisters fell in deathbed,
Full of pain and faded.

The first to go away,
Was love and desire,
Departed faith, after.

The longest living one,
In Russia: "Nadezhda."

That is hope, she remained,
To the final breath
And when death conquered.
