Thrive Poem by Oluwatosin Thomas

Thrive

I

On the sixth day β˜€ of the fifth moon πŸŒ‘,

The rise of the sun β˜€ emerged,

Awakening the tides of the day πŸŒ‘,

For a queen πŸ‘‘ was born.

II

Tick tock as the time ⌚ticks,

Making the bids of your day β˜€,

Flow in the rhythm of your time ⌚,

Like the tale of a seed 🌿 planted,

Thus you came so frailless.

III

Age in the race as your adolescent creeped in,

Puberty emerged and adulthood crawled in,

Peers, folks, foes, nature and environment,

All made you the you.

The essence of your being we've seen,

For your passing you've shared.

IV

Sail on to the land beyond,

Sojourn in the land of your ways,

Journey in the route of your smile,

Sing a new song 🎢, dance πŸ‘― to a new rhythm,

It's your season, it's your day β˜€,

Hence, your smile πŸ˜ƒ will spark πŸ’₯again.
