Where righteousness had wandered far
When souls give birth to hate
The contents of a heart will bar
The way through Heaven’s gate
In Christ, we learn through sin we fall
We die and end in flame
But faith and trust will conquer all
When placed in Jesus’ name
Let no one’s heart God’s Lamb deny
Nor doubt Salvation’s might
But whilst life’s hills we’re climbing high
On “Christ The Rope” hold tight
In all to Christ bend now the knee
Through faith seek help above
Place trust and hope on stormy sea
Within God’s “Ship” of love
Before we sail through “Heaven’s Door”
Before we’re high and dry
We’ll journey many foreign shore
Where sailors sink and die
Yet in Christ’s hand we’ll never fail
Nor can we lose our way
“God’s Holy Wind” will fill our sail
And guide us night and day
Sail on toward The Promised Land
Fear not with Christ in view
He’ll have us in His mighty hand
And see us safely through
